These are all essentially good fireplace TV stands, but each of them seems to have one or two things which make them come just short of perfect. This one comes in black, dove gray, espresso, and white, and its most striking design feature is probably the open shelving.

This fireplace TV stand/console is constructed of a laminated hollow core, particleboard, and a metal 18” fireplace insert. The assembled dimensions are 22.5”H x 59”W x 18.9”D. It will hold a flat screen TV with a screen size up to 65” with a maximum weight of 120 lbs. The open shelving is made up of four shelves which, as usual, serve to hold your DVDs, Blu-Rays, their respective players, and anything related to gaming. Some customers also suggest placing a subwoofer there for convenience. The possibilities are nearly endless. Just like with most fireplace TV stands, you can enjoy the fireplace ambiance even during the summer as you can use it with or without heat.

This product does ship flat to your door and it is recommended that you have an adult helping you assemble it. However, it is possible to assemble it alone and should not take more than average. Some customers have reported having trouble with assembly, but others have confirmed that this is probably a result of inexperience or an improper understanding of instructions as there is nothing particularly difficult about this fireplace TV stand's assembly.

Some complaints also state that small bits of the wood arrived chipped away or that some of the screw holes are not properly punctured. The latter is an easy fix if you have a drill and is not something that happens often, while the former can be concealed depending on which color you ordered (by using a black marker etc.). With all of these things, it is important to remember that they do not happen often. They are by far an exception more than the rule, and so there is no substantial reason to fret about them happening. However, when they do happen, they can be an inconvenience (an easily resolvable one).

All things considered, this is another great Ameriwood product which delivers a lot for the price. If you wish to give your home or room a cozy but open atmosphere, then look no further.
